Langres toast and smoked ham

Ingredients
- 60 g Langres cheese
- 4 slices Holstein smoked ham
- 4 slices toasted bread (Baguette à l'ancienne)
- 1 long red bell pepper
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 sprig parsley
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 leek white
- 4 cherries
- salt and pepper
Preparation

Chop the parsley and add to the heavy cream. Season with salt, pepper and a few drops of lemon juice.

Arrange the cream on the toasted bread.

Add the sliced peppers, ham and pieces of Langres cheese.

Toast the bread under the broiler to melt the cheese slightly.

Garnish with cherries and sliced leek.

Trick
You can vary the flavours by using other vegetables or fruit. Excellent as an aperitif.
